Publishing director of EDP Sciences Agnès Henri visited IWHR on September 7, 2018 and talked about bilateral cooperation in academic journals and paper publishing with IWHR Vice President Yang Xiaodong. The persons-in-charge of the Journal of Hydraulic Engineering as well as the International Soil and Water Conservation Research, two of the international journals hosted by IWHR, also attended the meeting.

Yang Xiaodong spoke highly of the visiting publishing house in terms of its long history and broad influence. He briefed the visitors on the strength of the institute’s research and journal publication, and hoped mutual understanding could be deepened to seek for further cooperation with the French company.

Agnès Henri said she was impressed by the Chinese research institute before getting into the introduction of her company’s fundamentals, history of development, areas of business and international influence, and indicated she was very interested in cooperation with IWHR in particular in fields of journal publishing, paper indexing, conference platform building and archiving of conference materials.
