IWHR completed all the 678 units of 4 sub-projects of safety monitoring for Deze Reservoir, the main structure for the water diversion project from Niulan River into Dianchi Lake in Southwest China’s Yunnan Province.

Feasible suggestions were proposed by the research team on site selection of monitoring equipment, design of observation room behind the dam, excavation of channels in dam body and laying of cables, while innovations made and validated in technologies such as the installation and laying of electro-levels, and the monitoring of deformation inside high slopes.
