The H9000 V4.0 monitoring system, newly developed by Beijing IWHR Technology Co. Ltd. (BITC) and adopted by Longyangxia Hydropower Station, was put into operation after a 72-hour test running.

Located on the mainstream of Yellow River in northwest China’s Qinghai Province, the power station is the first stage of cascade stations developed on the upper reach of the river, now equipped with four generating units and four transformers, with an installed capacity of 1,280 MW. The replaced H9000 V3 monitoring system, also developed by BITC, had been in service in the Station for 14 years.
