Abstract: Smart water project (SWP) plays an important role in the water resources sector and is an important implementation path for the high-quality development of the water resources sector in the new stage.The implementation of the overall plan of SWP the promotion of "new infrastructure" in water projects and the construction of the water infrastructure systems in the future are the key to carrying out the CCP Central Committee's decision and deployment on the development of the 14th Five-Year Plan.This paper comes up with the idea of constructing a water system that includes Digitalized natural river systems, Intelligence-oriented water projects and Smartness-oriented water resources management or DIS system.The key technologies of DIS system are discussed in the paper, considering different application scenarios.
