Abstract: With the equipment made in laboratory, the curing stress and strain of two kinds of epoxy resin material are tested. The curing stress and strain curves show that about 50% of curing shrinkage has occurred before the gel point. The test results of curing stress are very low, and the maximum not exceeding 0.2MPa. Trough DSC test, it has been determined that the reaction degrees of the two kinds of material are 94.1% and 95.5%, respectively. Then the remaining curing stress is calculated. The whole curing stresses of the two materials are about 0.671MPa and 0.060MPa. According to the results, this paper concludes that the effect of the curing stress on the stress state is insignificant.
