Abstract: Focusing on the problems related to the reinforced soil, the formulation mechanism and feathers of shear strength of reinforced coarse soil are analyzed in this paper. The targeted discussions are made to analyze the shear strength test research on reinforced soil, and the shear strength index of reinforced gangue is measured though triaxial test to verify the analyzed results. The analysis results show that reinforced soil structure is systematic integrity, and its shear strength is decided by the combined effect of geosynthetics and work soil. The shear strength of reinforced soil is uniform inside as the work of reinforced soil uniformed. The calculated method regulated in active code has defect to some degree as departing the geosynthetics from work soil to unattached. When not destroyed, the strength of geosynthetics has little effect on reinforced soil, while the type of apertures and stiffness of ribs and junctions have significant effect on the structure.
