Abstract: Some safety monitoring information management systems designed for specified project have many defects, like the poor portability and the difficulty in application and dissemination. In order to adapt to different projects, sensors and users' requirements to build textual research table and report, this paper studied how to improve the versatility of the safety monitoring information management system in the aspects of database and interface design and function realization. The results show that parameters configuration can be treated by users finally and the versatility of programs can be improved greatly through the techniques of dynamic creating database tables, using word fields and designing dynamic configuration inter face etc. Based on the above research, we developed the universal safety monitoring information management system, which proved to have good flexibility and compatibility by the practical projects.
