Abstract: In the indirect-dry cooling system, the heat-exchanger and cooling tower are the important instruments to dissipate heat flux. In dry cooling system, the operation efficiencies are affected by the performance of the heat transfer and the uniformity of the air flow in tower. The type of dry cooling tower affects the flow pattern in tower. In this paper, by heat and resistance equilibrium calculation on different type tower, a high efficient tower type is presented. The optimal dimension size of tower can be offered for the design on the dry cooling tower.
