Abstract: Through physical model experiments of double-outlet waterway of low water structure, according to practical works demand, silt separation effect of silt training works in different types and scale on double-outlet waterway is researched. The result indicates both the circular-arc or linear silt-training submerged dam constructed in upstream of the outlet section and desilting sluice set up in the outlet can influence the silt separation effect, the silt separation rate is direct proportional to length and height of silt-training submerged dam and number of desilting sluice. Silt separation effect of circular-arc submerged dam is better than that of linear dam, changes of length and height of submerged dam influence the increase speed of silt separation rate. When the desilting sluice increases to a certain number, the increase speed of silt separation rate is small, the increase of silt separation rate is not significant.
